It's ZBIZ time!
​
Short for Z Collection + Business, ZBIZ returns on June 18, 2026, bringing fresh energy to the tile and design industry. A premier trade event spotlighting innovation and excellence, this year’s show places a strong emphasis on collaboration, with installers and designers teaming up to push boundaries and redefine the art of tile installation and design.
​
Select teams in the Portland area will participate in an installation showdown, creating bathroom furniture pieces and accessories using Z Collection tile, Kohler plumbing fixtures from Keller Kitchen & Bath Showcase, foam from Pacific Foam, and grout from Ardex. Other materials such as wood, metal, or glass can be used as accents, but tile will make up the majority of each piece. Guests will then vote for their favorite with the top pick earning the Crowd Favorite award. At the same time, a panel of judges will evaluate each piece and select winners across categories: Champion Installer and Designer, Best Craftsmanship, Most Unique Design, Best Bathroom Accessory, and Most Likely to be Ordered.

Beyond the competition, ZBIZ 2026 expands the spotlight to even more of the industry’s top innovators through a Mini Trade Show. Beautifully curated booths will showcase the latest products and services, inviting guests to explore, connect, and discover what’s shaping the future of design. New this year, we’re proud to feature dedicated material sponsors supplying essential resources, ranging from plumbing fixtures and grout to foam and setting materials, directly to our installation and design teams, helping them to turn bold concepts into reality.

The day begins at 12:00 PM with the opening of the Mini Trade Show, where guests can connect with industry professionals and enjoy sweet treats from the Pip’s Doughnuts mobile truck, along with a variety of delicious lunch bites. This vibrant midday gathering sets the stage for inspiration and collaboration. At 4:00 PM, the event transitions into the Awards Ceremony, honoring the exceptional talent and creativity of the participating installers and designers. Following the ceremony, join us for a Cocktail Hour and live music by Flight DeVille. Radu, John, and Alec Bulbuk are the co-founders of Sardonyx Flooring & Design, a Pacific Northwest–based tile and design company known for its craftsmanship, versatility, and collaborative approach. Radu began his journey in the early 2000s after immigrating from Ukraine, bringing with him hands-on experience in the installation industry.
